On a recent hiking expedition I climbed Spencer's Butte located south of Eugene. The elevation is 2052 ft. so it is a easy hike (providing you take the easy route). There are 3 different trails up to the butte, I took the one from Fox Hollow and Christenson Rd. in South Eugene. The main one is from the Spencer's Butte parking lot located on South Willamette and there's one on 52nd and Willamette. So if your in the mood for a hike try this and enjoy Eugene from the Butte!
